Where is Novosibirsk?

Novosibirsk is one of the many stops along the famous Trans-Siberian Railroad that stretches across the Russian Federation from West to East all the way through China. Jason wants to take the train to Novosibirsk on our way to meet our child, however we are told that it takes several days on the train to get there. I think I would prefer the faster 4.5 hour plane ride myself, although we won't get to see as much of rural Russia that way. By the time we get that far into the process, I think we will be so focused on meeting our child, I won't be able to get there fast enough
