Jason and I have been keeping busy these last few weeks with activities at church and projects at home. Thanks to our Iowa parents, our basement now has walls and rooms that have been drywalled and primered. They did this while we were in Russia several weeks ago- and it was so great to come home and see the progress! After some careful shopping we finally bought a carpet and decided on paint colors. Well, we decided on paint colors 3 different times- and ended up with something much different than the first time, but we think it will all look nice together.
Working on these projects has given us something constructive to do, a way to occupy the mind with good things, rather than on our worries.
